Provisional: one year of competitive service as a Human Resources Specialist 2 (Staffing), SG-23

Duties Description Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Staffing Services, the incumbent of this position will require a thorough working knowledge of Civil Service business processes and will be responsible for:

• Overseeing a specialized unit that will be responsible for all aspects of the development and management of electronic related examinations such as Training and Experience instruments, Selective Certifications, and Select Lists (such as the Professional Career Opportunities exam), including ensuring the progress of examinations, setting timelines and expectations of staff involved, and testing completed examinations and instruments prior to their release.

• Providing technical assistance to staff and acting as a liaison with the Office of Information Technology Services staff to resolve issues while ensuring that the specialized examination programs are developed and appropriately administered within the scope of Civil Service Laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Working closely with agency subject matter experts in the Classification & Compensation, Testing Services, and Human Resources divisions.
