Minimum Qualifications The desired combination of credentials includes one of the following:

Master's Degree with two years of professional experience OR
Bachelor's Degree in a construction related field with at least four years of professional experience
Some travel and attendance to state and national conferences is expected
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record by time of appointment

Duties Description Primary duties will be focused on teaching a variety of courses with specific emphasis in residential construction. Viable candidates shall be comfortable teaching both technical and practical applications, as they relate to all aspects of residential construction and carpentry as a whole. Depending on their expertise, the selected candidate may be involved with courses in the following subject areas: finish carpentry, plans and specifications, mechanical systems, woodworking, light framing, construction safety, remodeling, masonry, employment skills, operating a small construction business, estimating and/or advanced framing.
