Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as a Supervisor of Administrative Analysis and interested in transfer; OR

Transfer: Must be eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Provisional or Non-Competitive Promotion: Must have one year of permanent or contingent permanent service as an Associate Administrative Analyst.

Note: Non-Competitive (NCP) under Section 52.7 of the Civil Service Law: In accordance with Section 52.7 of the Civil Service Law, if the number of qualified candidates within OASAS who apply for the position is three or less, a permanent appointment may be made, at agency discretion, by promotion of an applicant who meets the minimum qualifications.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will supervise the Bureau of Provider Monitoring & Funding Payment Units, which includes both the Aid to Localities and State Operations payments teams.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

oversee provider claiming activities; coordinate provider cost reporting; collaborate with the OASAS Fiscal Audit Review Unit regarding cost reporting and audit recoupments; maintain collaborative relationships with the Business Service Center (BSC) and State Financial System (SFS) staff to ensure timely and accurate payments; provide program analysis devised to improve processes; participate in policy development and improvement; manage agency credit card activity for travel, procurement and non-employee travel cards; and prepare various quarterly and year-end financial reports.
