Minimum Qualifications Eight years of experience in a Network/Telecommunications field that includes the Design, Build, and Run experience for Network (WAN, LAN) / VoIP environments. At least two years of this experience must have been at a supervisory level, or include at least one year of managerial experience.
The following degrees, preferably in Computer Science or related field, may substitute for the general experience as indicated:
• Associate’s degree and seven years of experience
• Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and six years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and five years of experience
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience
• Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional two years of experience
Preferred qualifications:
Two or more years of project management experience.
Duties Description Under the direction of a Manager Information Technology Service 2 (Technical), the Project Coordinator will be assigned to the Client Network Services (CNS) unit within the Chief Operations Office (COO) and will oversee the prioritization and workflow of all incoming change, incident, and service request records for CNS to enhance service delivery performance in the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS). The incumbent will provide overview, escalation, and support for all IT service management records within scope – based on CNS performance goals.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Interfaces with ITS Queue Managers on record prioritization and resolution progress to achieve service level objectives;
• Communicates with Integrated Service Team (IST) members on recommended service management processes;
• Analyzes metrics in collaboration with the Delivery Analyst to identify trends and make operational improvement recommendations;
• Collaborates with Service Delivery Managers and Customer Relationship Managers to ensure that the Cluster members follow standard guidelines/procedures when requesting service from the Integrated Services Team;
• Provides assistance and guidance in the handling of requests pertaining to Network and Telecommunications;
• Analyzes all incoming work to determine task complexity;
• Matches Pool workload balance and resource skill to optimize Pool execution on a continual basis;
• Provides direction to next-shift dispatcher during daily turnover to assure a smooth work transition;
• Trains Pool on recommended processes and monitors compliance with new processes; and
• Assures Clusters follow standard guidelines and procedures when requesting service from the Pool.
