Duties Description The incumbent will act as the director of Office of Laboratory Safety and Training (OLSAT) reporting to the Acting Director who
performs many tasks pertaining to the safe and functional operation of the IBR laboratories and is responsible to ensure that labs
comply with OSHA safety standards. Responsibilities and tasks also include but are not limited to administering IBR's chemical
waste program, maintaining the chemical inventory, participating as member or chair of IBR committees such as the Institutional
Biosafety Committee, Radiation Safety Committee and Health & Safety Committee and conducting laboratory safety training for all
IBR employees, students and volunteers.
