Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position will provide support to State Operations in the areas of Medicaid Compliance, Technical Assistance, Training, BIRC, Survey Readiness and other assigned duties within the Quality Supports department.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide training to staff as needed, including new employees. Participate in Survey Readiness visits. Be knowledgeable about OPWDD’s Medicaid Compliance Program. Completion of Corrective Action Plans (CAP) in response to Justice Center findings. Support QIDP staff. Participate in the Behavioral Intervention Rights Committee, Standards of Practice Committee and Investigation Review Committee. The needs of the Quality Supports department may require additional tasks to be assigned as necessary.

Additional Comments • All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
