Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an employee of the Acumatica Unit, the person in this position would have the following duties and responsibilities, at this point in time:

Job Description – Head Account Clerk
1. Supervise and training of subordinate staff of OA3s, OA2s, and OA1s
2. Monitor incoming group mailbox
3. Approve Debit Card transfer requests in Acumatica
4. Approve Quick Check requests in Acumatica
5. Respond to Balance Inquiry questions from homes
6. Provide User Support for Acumatica transactions at homes
7. Maintain and monitor Aging and Follow-Ups for:
a. Attachment of receipts in Acumatica
b. Potential excess assets situations
c. Debit Card balances over $150.
d. Other aged encumbrances
8. Process Family Care billing payments – Work with FC Liaisons regarding payments
9. Responsible for monthly process related to download and posting of individual’s benefits
10. Adjust\Review\Reconcile automated Debit Card replenishment transactions
11. Obtain, Reconcile, Process and disburse payments for DDSO Roll Bills
12. Act a liaison to Revenue Support staff, for benefit and billing changes, as reported on Account Notices
13. Act as Supervisory liaison with Revenue Support staff for issues related to Burial Funds, Trusts, Repayments, Holds, etc.
14. Process Debit Card transfers on Adirondack Bank’s Webwise banking portal
15. Solicit bids for Certificates of Deposit
16. Assists in development of documentation for work processes
17. Act as liaison with Information Technology Services’ staff, as it relates to Acumatica implementation, usability, and training
18. Run end-of-day Trial Balance and Transaction reports from Acumatica
19. Send notification emails to house staff, regarding completed Debit Card Transfers

Additional Comments ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Family and household member relationships: OPWDD policy may impact eligibility for this position. • CAPA: Must be cleared by the NYS Central Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment, if position requires working with minors and not previously cleared.
• All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
