Minimum Qualifications For permanent appointment, candidates must be eligible for transfer; or reachable on current civil service list; or for provisional appointment, candidates must be a qualified employee of New York State with one year permanent competitive or 55b/55c service in an Office Assistant 1, Clerical or Keyboarding title allocated to a grade 5 or higher. Candidates will be required to take the upcoming New York State civil service exam and be reachable on the list for permanent appointment.

Duties Description Responsible for the clerical portion of the facility Workers' Compensation program. Prepare and track employee evaluations for security and civilian staff. Prepare and track TB notices. Prepare and track FMLA eligibility and notices for employees. Handles all incoming and outgoing mail.
