Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Seven years of experience implementing state and federal Unemployment Insurance laws, rules and regulations and interpreting and conveying information to claimants and/or employers regarding Unemployment Insurance benefits, registration, reporting or contributions, policies and programs.
Experience in the process and development of new modernization systems along with the analysis of business processes and workflows to ascertain business requirements and needs as required.

Project management experience which includes coordinating technical information or resources from several sources or organizational entities, as well as coordinating activities with other units, agencies and vendors is preferred.

A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for up to 4 years of specialized experience.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: As a Project Coordinator, you will manage the functions related to the implementation of the Unemployment Insurance Registration application and its related processes for the New York Business Express (NYBE) initiative. You will be responsible for creatively applying technical, facilitation and management skills throughout the project lifecycle; and will manage communication to all project stakeholders and participants. You will participate in regularly scheduled NYBE meetings and facilitate internal DOL UI meetings as required; gather DOL UI business comments and prepare final documentation for completion of all packages required; participate in testing, procedural development and training. You will prepare reports and compile statistical data identifying project logistics, information, adherence to timeline and project evaluation as needed; and perform other project coordination and management functions, as required.
