Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have a professional demeanor, strong organizational and communication (written and oral) skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, coordinating Outlook calendars, and managing multiple phone lines. The candidate must uphold high standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Hours are 1:30PM to 9:00PM and salary will be determined based on prior work experience and education (approximately $29,000 to $36,000).
Duties Description The incumbent of this position will work as part of a team within the Executive Office of the Division of the Budget to support the Budget Director and Deputy Directors and all functions of the Executive Office. The incumbent is privy to highly confidential information, necessitating high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. The incumbent is responsible for having working knowledge of the Division’s organization, operations and procedures.
Specific Duties Include:
• Managing the reception and phone contacts from high-level government officials, including the Governor’s office and Executive Chamber, legislative officials, and all levels of staff within the Division of the Budget;
• Providing general office support, including scheduling meetings for the Director and Deputy Director, answering phones, receiving office visitors and meeting attendees; and
• Performing other related tasks as assigned by the Executive Office Manager, the Director of the Budget and Deputy Directors.
