Salary RangeFrom $88603 to $109133 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list.
Candidates must have one year of service as a Project Manager 2, or two years of service as a Project Manager 1.
Also eligible to apply are: Candidates holding a permanent, competitive position of Project Manager, Grade 27, or other title appropriate for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law may be eligible for transfer.
Duties Description The Project Manager 3 will be responsible for the management of the Strategic Planning unit and administering the agency’s governance and portfolio management process. Duties include, but not limited to:
• Ensure the delivery of an acceptable product for each project in the portfolio
• Maintain the agency’s project/enhancement SharePoint site
• Provides project management coaching to individuals involved in overseeing projects and/or enhancements
• Serve as a project manager on WCB projects in the portfolio
• Oversee the agency’s project portfolio and prepare reports for Executive Management with individual project statuses as well as the portfolio health.
• Facilitate project/enhancement selection with the Advisory and Executive Governance Councils
• Work with business units to identify project/enhancement impacts and resource availability
• Supervise Project Manager 1 item and any contractor project managers that report directly to the WCB.
