Eligible for appointment from the Civil Service eligible list

One year permanent competitive service as a Human Resources Specialist 2 (Labor Relations) or in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law
Provisional Qualifications:
Eligible for a provisional appointment if candidate meets the promotional qualifications of one year as a Human Resources Specialist 1.
Duties Description
Under the direction of a higher-level Human Resources Specialist, oversee all labor relations activity in a geographic grouping of offices and/or youth residential facilities. Duties include employee discipline, grievance administration, labor/management activity, health and safety activities and agency-level labor management committee assignments.
Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
Additional Comments Travel – 35%. Work hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Must be a state employee to apply.
