Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list, or be eligible for 70.1 transfer.
In order to qualify for a Section 70.1 transfer, candidates must have one year of permanent service in a Grade 11 or higher level title. Some titles eligible for a 70.1 transfer to the Administrative Aide are: Secretary 1, Agency Program Aide, Tax Compliance Representative 1, Motor Vehicle Consumer Services Representative 1, etc.
Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
At the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), we work to facilitate an environment that allows everyone to be successful, the people we serve, their families and our employees. The Administrative Aide, reporting to the Director of Equal Opportunity, will provide support to both Central Office and field staff to help them maintain a workplace that is inclusive, respectful and free from discrimination, intolerance, harassment and retaliation. The responsibilities of this position include:
• Assign Discrimination Complaints and Reasonable Accommodations to appropriate staff members.
• Maintain databases and enter information for Discrimination Complaints and Reasonable Accommodations.
• Maintain Assignment logs for Complaints, Reasonable Accommodations and Counsel’s Office and report out once a month.
• Review outgoing correspondence for proper grammatical usage, clarity, program information and conformance to instruction. Ensure that appropriate background material is attached.
• Transmit instructions from Director to appropriate staff, orally or in writing and follow up to see that instructions are followed and deadlines are met.
• Produce Administrative Action Reports for all local offices and request documentation once a month.
• Produce Executive Reports on a monthly basis.
• Other duties as required

• All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
