Minimum Qualifications Candidate must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list for Human Resources Specialist 2, (Associate Personnel Administrator).
OR
At least one year permanent service in a title eligible for a 52.6 transfer pursuant to Civil Service Law. Examples of qualifying titles include, but are not limited to: Human Resources Specialist 2 (Associate Personnel Administrator), Human Resources Specialist 2 Labor Relations (Agency Labor Relations Rep 1), Training Specialist 2 (Agency Training and Development Specialist 2), Associate Personnel Examiner and Associate Staffing Services Representative.
Duties Description May be called on to provide personnel and employee relations services for all employees in community operations and administrative offices.
• Serves as liaison with operations and employees for staffing, recruitment, position classification, scoring for open competitive applications, budgetary permission to fill position, test planning and administration
• Provides supervision to four Human Resources Specialist 1’s and four clerical staff including the transactions division.
• Oversee human resources staff in all aspect of human resources, time & attendance, and maintaining probationary and
performance evaluations.
• Serves on the Traineeship Council, Safe Patient Handling and Position Control for both Regional and State Operations.
• Serves serve as Administrator on Duty (AOD) several times a year.
