Duties Description The Office of Justice Research and Performance (OJRP) uses available, relevant data to conduct research and analysis, produce statistical reports, data sets and/or information that informs the Division of Criminal Justice Service (DCJS), public, legislature, policies, best practices, and more, among many other functions. The selected candidate will support the agency's internal performance management and process improvement unit. Duties included but are not limited to:
• Prepare accurate and error-free Monthly Statistical Reports (MSRs) for all DCJS offices;
• Perform unit-supported monthly and quarterly processing and data entry of specific data sets;
• Communicate regularly with office contacts regarding MSR data entry cycles and deadlines;
• Complete initial data entry for Quarterly Performance Reports;
• Prepare annual report compilations for distribution to Executive staff;
• Assist with simple process improvement projects on an ad hoc basis; training will be provided as necessary; and,
• Perform additional assignments and activities as necessary to support the Performance and Lean program.
Minimum Qualifications Must be a current student enrolled in a matriculating degree program and have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university.
