Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be reachable on the current civil service eligible list or be eligible for 70.1 transfer. In order to qualify for a Section 70.1 transfer, candidates must have one year of permanent competitive service in a Grade 11 or higher level title. The title cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in a advancement of more than two grade levels.
Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acting as a paraprofessional, the Program Aide will assist the Associate Budget Analyst with the fiscal management of the DDPC grants program and agency fiscal transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Calculate, rectify and maintain all grant-related fiscal records.
Development and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases.
Contract-related activities to include, but not be limited to maintenance of contract status, expenditures, budget and grantee reporting requirements.
Assist in reviewing and processing grant applications, grant awards and contracts.
Prepare and edit draft correspondence and other documents.
Provide administrative and technical support to the fiscal unit performing a wide variety of program activities and tasks.
Provide backup to support staff and professional staff.
