Duties/ Responsibilities

Responsible for all labor relations activity in a geographic grouping of offices and youth residential facilities, including employee discipline, grievance administration, labor/management activity, and health and safety activities; also special projects and agency level labor/management committee assignments. Depending on the region, overnight travel varies from 10 to 35 percent of the time.

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications

One year of permanent competitive service as an Agency Labor Relations Representative 1 or eligible for 52.6 transfer

Additional Comments

Fingerprinting is required at the time of appointment. In addition, screening through the New York State Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment will also be required, the fee is currently $5.
