Duties/ Responsibilities

Function as an advanced clinician in providing a full range of psychological services to individuals in one or more settings. You may be required to manage projects, conduct psychology-related training, supervise subordinate staff, and conduct psychological assessments.

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications

One year of permanent competitive service as an Associate Psychologist or Associate Psychologist Spanish Language or eligible for 70.1 transfer. Open Competitive Qualifications: An earned doctoral degree in a field of psychology AND: EITHER a one-year, full time clinical internship, or traineeship OR one year of psychology experience in a clinical setting, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Additional Comments

Fingerprinting is required at the time of appointment, the fee is currently $86.75. In addition, screening through the New York State Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment will also be required, the fee is currently $5.
