Duties/ Responsibilities

Incumbents will be responsible for managing a caseload of Homeland Security Grant contracts. Duties include reviewing grant applications and making funding recommendations, preparing grant contracts, reviewing and monitoring expenditures of local and state grantees, providing assistance to grantees in the administration of their grant funds, and preparing programmatic and fiscal reports.
*Travel is required.

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications

Transfer opportunity for a State employee with one year of permanent competitive service as a Criminal Justice Program Representative 1.
OR

70.1 Transfer:
One year of permanent competitive service as a Correctional Facility Specialist 1, Criminal Justice Policy Analyst 2 or Program Research Specialist 2 (Criminal Justice).

70.1 Transfer to Criminal Justice Program Representative Trainee 1, NS=SG-13-
One year of permanent competitive service as an Administrative Aide or Agency Program Aide.

Preferred Qualifications: Grant administration experience.
