Duties/ Responsibilities |
Under the Supervision of an Associate Auditor, the Senior Auditor conducts financial and operational audits of State psychiatric centers and OMH Central Office operations, as well as local providers of mental health services. The incumbent reviews financial records, assesses their accuracy, and evaluates the information against established criteria. The incumbent documents their efforts in work papers and follows generally accepted accounting and auditing standards to complete their work. The incumbent meets with the auditee, engages in meaningful discussions, and clearly communicates the results of the audit in a written format. Some travel is required. |
