Duties/ Responsibilities |
As a Secretary 1 you would be responsible for providing administrative support in an office. You would establish and implement procedures to maintain an efficient work flow; relieve an official of a variety of routine office details; and perform responsible clerical work. You would also screen and refer telephone calls to the appropriate staff; examine daily mail and personally handle routine correspondence by preparing replies or collecting information for your supervisor's use in replying; and keep office records and files using a variety of software. You would be responsible for the preparation of a variety of documents, databases and correspondence using various Microsoft Office applications. |

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications |
Reassignment Qualifications: An employee with one year permanent competitive service as a Secretary 1, Grade 11 is eligible for reassignment to any location where a vacancy exists in the title. |
